Anti Ragging Cell

Ragging is a criminal activity which gravely impacts the physical, mental, moral and spiritual life of the victims. Taking cognizance of the heinousness of this criminality this institution has taken several steps in accordance with the law of our country so that there are no occurrences of any ragging on our campus.
To keep a vigil and watch of such activity the college has constituted the anti ragging committee comprising of the following teachers and students.

At the beginning of the session the rules and regulations pertaining to ragging incidents and their repercussions are widely propagated with the notices at the prominent places.The committee conducted the following activities to create awareness among students and to combat social evil.

SESSION: 2017-2018

  • Cartoon Making Competition was held by the Anti ragging committee entitled “STOP RAGGING AT CAMPUS” on 25 JULY 2017.
  • Slogan Writing Competition on the theme “RAGGING IS CRIME “on the 9th august 2017.
  • Anti -Ragging committee organized Essay writing competition on the theme “ISSUE OF RAGGING” on 19 August 2017.
  • “PICTIONARY COMPETITION “was based on the theme of Anti ragging on 13th Sep 2017.

SESSION:2018-2019

  • Slogan writing competitions on the theme “STOP RAGGING “on 21st july2018.
  • Awareness through video screening on Anti Ragging on 2nd August 2018.
  • Poster making competition on the theme “STOP ANTI RAGGING ON CAMPUS” on 18th august 2018.
  • Essay Writing Competition on “Creating Awareness Among Youth Regarding Issue of Ragging “on 11th Sep 2018

Ragging is banned and is punishable act.
